Boldness: Willingness to Take Risks

Boldness, which implies a flair for entrepreneurship, and a desire to take considered risk and show commitment.

This is how Capgemini defined one of its seven core values.

Boldness as a core value means that the organization encourages everyone to take risks and show commitment to making things happen. Many leaders, social entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers value boldness.

Most entrepreneurs, especially when starting up, are expected to be bold. More prominent companies, on the other hand, tend to do things slowly and surely. Startups cannot be slow, so they choose to be bold.

The Filipino term “astig” and “bahala na” are related to boldness. Astig means toughness while bahala na (from Bathala na) means being all in and lives everything to God.
