To Succeed, Know What You Really Want

Crisis hits once in a while. Covid-19 creates a crisis that made many stumble and fall.

Six months ago, we came to know of this virus from China. It was not part of our plan. We did not expect our government to allow its entry to our shore. We never thought that Duterte is clueless about coronaviruses and their relations to China.

The government does not have a plan. Our foreign debts grow every week. We don’t know how monies were used. We don’t know where and how they’ll spend them.

We are where we are because of the government. Do you agree?

I do, but only partly.

As a nation, we never had plan for crisis like this. This is why we elected clueless polticians.

Anyhow.

Realize that in this times, most of us stumbled and fell.

But many are discovered the good life they have (despite the limitations). They started small backyard farming, selling goods online, food deliveries, online education, and many more.

Many made more money than ever before.

This is not the life that we want. But crisis is part of the ebb and flow of life. Moments like this make us rethink our lives. Opportunities become visible to us.

Opportunities are visible to those who know what they really want. When it comes to success, it matters less where you are. What matters more is who you are and what you want.

Life’s crisis may surprise you. But if you know what you want, you can change course to get where you want to go. And if you fall, you will bounce forward.

Because our end is not our previous life but the life we want to create for those whom we really care about.

Know what you really want.
