Make Work Matter

Make Work Matter is a living companion to the book. The book gives you the complete experience. This page is where examples, reader discoveries, and additional material can grow over time.

SEE — See What Is Taking Over Your Work

Question: What is consuming me without moving what matters?

Notice the work that keeps you occupied, responsive, and tired without creating a useful difference. The purpose is not to eliminate routine work. It is to see when activity has started replacing contribution.

CHOOSE — Choose What Deserves Your Work

Question: What matters enough to deserve my work?

Bring the work back to three realities: Someone. Change. Proof. Who must be helped? What useful change should happen? What could show that the change has begun?

MOVE — Move What Matters

Question: What can I move now?

Movement begins when intention touches the work. Choose a real next move, make it small enough to begin, and pay attention to what happens.

MULTIPLY — Make the Contribution Travel

Question: How can this continue or become useful beyond me?

A contribution multiplies when another person can use it, improve it, repeat it, teach it, or carry it forward without depending on your constant presence.

The Make Work Matter Canvas

The canvas is not a form you complete once. Return to it as your work changes.
