A call for voluntary ECQ

How are you today? I pray that you are safe wherever you are.

Three days ago, medical workers urged the government to declare ECQ in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. ECQ will delay the spread of the Coronavirus.

Medical workers know that ECQ is not a solution. But it is a necessary step so the government can come up with better solutions. I learned that last night, the President finally heeded the call and declared MECQ.

I daresay that if the government follows the health protocol, we should go beyond that. And we should have replays these acronyms with alert levels.

Anyhoo, there are calls for us to do voluntary ECQ. If the government cannot find better solutions, we must. Below is an infographic based on Dr. Leachon’s text.

We are accountable too. If we can isolate ourselves from others for 15 or 30 days, let’s do that. We can be productive; we need to find better ways.

Stay fit, healthy, happy, and wise.
