Are you struggling to keep your team inspired? Every Monday, get one powerful idea to transform how you lead.
No fluff. Just actionable strategies that work.

Pick Your Problems

Problems always exist. Problems do not appear because you recognize them. Problems will always be there whether you see them or not. What’s important is you pick your problem, own it, and find ways to solve it.

Pick your problem and make yourself accountable.

Leaders face many issues, but not all of them are problems. Some issues need only a decision and action from you. True, some of our decisions may lead to problems, but you must be bold and take action.

Some problems are known. You know their causes, and you know the solutions. But you may need more actions. You need a plan. Or you may need someone else to take action.

Some problems are more critical than others.

Some problems, like wars in other countries, may concern you, but most are beyond your control and power to solve. It does not mean you cannot do anything about it, but some problems may require more attention from you.

You will see problems when you pay attention to them. For example, the status quo always presents leaders with some problems. Remember, leaders, challenge that status quo. Always look for better ways.

You may identify a hundred problems in a day. But you ought to pick one problem that matters most to you.

You may not be able to solve the world, but you can make a difference when you choose a problem and take action.
