Not for shortcuts. For strategy.
Everyone’s talking about how AI will replace jobs.
But that’s the wrong conversation.
The real risk?
Managers who still rely on outdated tools, slow processes, and safe decisions.
AI isn’t here to replace you.
It’s here to multiply your impact—if you use it right.
And here’s the truth:
Most managers are using AI to save time.
Smart managers use AI to execute strategy.
Great leaders aren’t born—they’re built, habit by habit.

Let Me Show You How I Use AI
I don’t ask ChatGPT to write training modules or summarize books.
I use it to clarify leadership behaviors, shape interventions, and design strategic conversations.
Let’s say I’m preparing a workshop for new supervisors in a logistics company.
Their biggest issue? They avoid giving feedback. They manage tasks, not people.
So I ask AI:
“I’m running a leadership workshop for 15 Filipino supervisors in the logistics industry. Their teams underperform because they avoid difficult conversations. Give me 5 powerful reflection questions that will make them confront their fear of giving feedback.”
I’m not looking for theory.
I want tools that create awareness, stir emotion, and lead to action.
Because that’s what makes a workshop unforgettable.
From Strategy to Action—With One Prompt
When I’m designing learning experiences, I start with this:
“What specific business result are we solving?”
“What behavior change will produce that result?”
Then, I use AI to bridge the gap.
For example:
“I want to help middle managers move from reactive to proactive leadership. What real-world scenarios can I simulate in a 30-minute session to surface their current mindset and introduce new thinking?”
Another:
“My client’s strategic priority is to build a culture of ownership. What daily leadership practices can I recommend to supervisors that will reinforce accountability without micromanaging?”
This is where the power of AI shines. It doesn’t do the thinking for you—it sharpens your thinking.
Stop Waiting. Start Designing.
Many managers say, “We’ll wait for HR to roll out training.”
But leaders don’t wait.
You can open a prompt and ask:
“One of my team members always deflects blame. Give me 3 coaching scripts I can use to guide them toward personal ownership without triggering defensiveness.”
“Our customer satisfaction scores are dropping. I lead 10 frontliners. What mindset shifts and micro-actions can I introduce in a team meeting to reconnect them to the customer experience?”
These aren’t random training hacks.
These are leadership tools—custom-fit to your context, your team, your strategy.
Why I Don’t Start With Content
I always begin with strategy.
The A-game.
The win we’re after.
Only then do I ask: “What tools, questions, stories, or simulations will help us get there?”
That’s when I open AI and type:
“Create a short case study where a supervisor avoids giving feedback, and the team underperforms as a result. Include details that will resonate with Filipino managers in manufacturing. I’ll use this in a reflection activity.”
Or:
“Suggest 5 energizer activities I can run in the middle of a workshop that reinforce the theme of taking initiative, not just having fun.”
See the difference?
AI is not my trainer.
It’s my assistant strategist.
You Can Use AI the Same Way
Here’s how to get started:
↳ Start with a business goal. Not a topic.
↳ Define the shift you want to see in your team. Not just what they’ll “learn.”
↳ Use AI to test your assumptions, stretch your thinking, and sharpen your next move.
Because if you use it well, AI won’t just save you time.
It will help you lead better, coach sharper, and build teams that win.
