Design Thinking for Teachers
Design Thinking for Teachers is a two-day workshop in which teachers will learn Design Thinking by experiencing Design Thinking. Over the course of the workshop, you, the teacher, will learn how to think and act as designer to solve problems in key areas of education.
You will learn, try, and apply Design Thinking.
That’s the promise.
Once you, the teacher, learned Design Thinking, you’ll be ready to incorporate design principles into projects that will challenge your students to emphatize with others and apply their knowledge and skills to solve real world problems.
Again, this is not a typical workshop. You must come ready to get hands-on. You will be working with other teachers in small groups.
You’ll use Design Thinking to identify and solve real educational challenges, such as how to assess the impact of experiential learning. You’ll learn key aspects of the process through collaboration, communication, and reflection.
