Many people don’t get the job they want. They are lucky if they get a job that pays well. Most Pinoys get the first job offers because they don’t have many choices.
I know how difficult it was to find jobs. I landed my first job two months before my graduation. But it was not my dream job. It pays too little. And I worked in a very stressful environment.
I stayed in that job for three years because I felt finding a better one was difficult. But I decided to finally resign (without a new job waiting) because I thought the value I brought was not recognized.
Luckily, I landed a job with a better environment and paid twice as much.
When I decided to become an entrepreneur, I had three purposes: earn more, use my talents to the fullest, and provide jobs to people.
These days, I help managers enable and equip their people through the leadership programs I provide.
But this week got me thinking.
What if I could help Filipinos find their dream jobs? What if I could tell them what I know works from an employer’s perspective? What if I could make them hear the voice of those happy with their jobs?
The good news is I can.
I have been helping people find their dream jobs. I know what works. And I have a network of achievers who can share what they know.
I am open to collaboration. And I will soon bring this to universities and colleges nationwide.
