Many professionals complain that they do not have time to do everything they must do. Twenty four hours in a day isn’t always enough to balance life and work.
“I have so many things to do, but I do not have enough time”.
” You do not have to do all things. You do not have even to do more things than others. You only need to do great things. You do one great thing at a time”.
A to-do list is a good thing. However, a to-do list with ten, twenty, or thirty items is overwhelming. It is a sure template to daily failures and frustrations. Because there is not enough time to do all things . And all things aren’t equal.
To believe that your reason for breathing another living minute is to accomplish a to-do list is one big mistake my friend. You decide what should be in that list.
You decide which one you must do now. And this is another way of saying that you decide which you must not do now.
You will do great things. So just do one great thing at a time.
I do that which will inspire, equip, and enable leaders. I do that which create and contributes to happiness. I do that which will serve for the greater good.
I do one great thing at a time. And I encourage you to do the same.
It is one secret to time management that you will seldom get in a time management training that pushes to be do more, but not better — that wants you to become productive but refuses to encourage you to be great. Training that teaches you how to multi-task, not to focus.
