I was reading The Richest Man in Babylon yesterday and I thought the simple principles must also be thought to people who need to learn them most. I am now designing a program that may help 24,000 people who were relocated from the Metro Manila to nearby provinces. I believe that living in a new place is a good opportunity also to change mindset.
The book is an easy read for someone who understands English. The book is filled with parables that give financial advices. I thought that it is very evident that speakers and authors like Robert Kiyosaki and Jim Rohn read the book too because they teach principles which were directly taken from the book. I have watched Bo Sanchez a few times and many of his teachings on financial matters were from this book. I know that Bo Sanches reads Robert Kiyosaki; maybe that is where he gets his teachings on financial freedom.
But I refuse to offer alien names to my audience.
I have a small project. I will be looking for Filipinos, not necessarily the richest, but who made it big in life. They will become my examples. I know that there already available books out there telling the stories of entrepreneurs. But I want to go beyond the entrepreneurs. Even employees can be successful too. I am looking for someone who grew up in a squatters area who can be my best examples to my audience.
Do you have someone in mind? Please tell me.

Great morning Sir Jef!
I am also reading that book and you are right, the principles seem easy to apply and very practical. There are digital editions available in public domain. Good to have it on smart phones, tablets and PCs. Yes, Jim Rohn also read that book. In one of his seminars he mentioned that the moment he learned about the book he immediately bought it.
By the way Sir I believe you are writing your own book. Hope to have a copy of that.
All the best and God Bless.
