Why clients get Jef Menguin

I really find it difficult to write a eulogy for self. This is how I felt when I am writing marketing materials which are supposed to tell you why you must get me, my company, and our services. I am tempted to think that it is not necessary to write about myself anymore since you are more interested to know how I can serve you.

But maybe, you need one. You will be entrusting with me a very important role: through my words, my actions, and the programs that I will give to your company, we will be touching and moving your people. You will be asking me to help you bring them to where you want them to go. You must therefor know what I believe in  and why you must trust me.

Since I don’t have anyone who can write for me (not that I don’t trust anyone), I sat down and reflected on why people get me as a motivational speaker (most of my clients consider me a motivational speaker though I consider myself more of a motivated and inspired speaker), a training consultant, and a retreat facilitator. I came up with the following which I am now writing in third person.

Today, thousands of internet surfers will land on his websites, blogs, social networks. He has readers in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. But he writes mainly for the Filipinos everywhere – from New York, Cubao to New York City. He intends to share his experiences to everyone. And he intends to listen to everyone.

Why clients get Jef Menguin

Because he moves and trains people to think and to think well. He challenges people to examine and renew their way of thinking in his talks, workshops & seminars. He shows that training is not about learning new techniques, tips, and tricks. Training, teaching, is about people. It is about moving people from where they are at now to where they want to be – from being good, to becoming better, to be the best! Training is about transforming people’s attitudes so they can make the most of the tools – technology, knowledge, and skills.

Because he shows people how to love and care for the customers, communicate with sincerity and confidence, lead with humility and will, perform with passion and focus in an stressful environment, and make the most of their very expensive and limited time. He shows them how to be purpose-driven. Purpose-driven people are productive people. His training programs directly address the participants’ search for significance. Organizations which do not address people and their needs do not produce excellent results and suck life out of people.

His customer service workshops will not only teach how to smile. You will develop greater awareness of the customers moments of truth – every contact you make with the customers- and you will find courage and confidence knowing that you have tools you can use to make yourself, your fellow employees, and your customers happy.

His time management seminars will not add a single minute to your life. But he can help you add more life to the rest of your life.

His stress management workshops show you how to use stress to achieve more. He makes the participants realize that only dead people don’t experience the stresses we all have. As long as we live, we must learn how to love stress the way peak performers do. Stress is for performance. The quality of your life will depend on your ability to convert stress to success. He encourages the participants to plan the rest of their lives living and working happy even in the most stressful situations.

His leadership workshops and talks may not add more followers to your empire or members to your tribe. He argues that everyone can be a leader. That everyone can create a pocket of greatness wherever they are. So, they – students and school principals, supervisors and managers, business and church leaders – have benefited from his programs.

This is  because Jef Menguin’s talks, workshops, and seminars are not only his. They are yours too. When you need him, he does his best to be there for you.

Because he is an inspired speaker. What makes him inspirational is not his delivery, not even the content of his speech. He does not attempt to inspire. He does not attempt to move people. He does not make you laugh, or cry, or sing for the sake of laughing, crying, and singing. He inspires because he is inspired. He sells hope because he sees hope. He lifts people because he is being lifted everyday. He moves people to action because he is in action. He speaks from experience because our experiences enlighten, energize, and engage us. He loves people. He  encourages people to find their gifts. He encourages them to use their gifts. To embrace their brilliance. And to be the light of the world.

Most importantly, because he is a Christian. Jef Menguin believes that titles and positions do not define who you are. Your faith does. A christian teacher is first a christian, then a teacher. She asks for God’s wisdom and obeys God first before she teaches and instructs people. A christian manager follows God so he can lead people well. A christian employee serves his company with excellence because he knows that doing so pleases his God. Everything begins and ends with God. Jef Menguin is grateful because God has given him gifts to lead and inspire, to train and to learn, to speak and to listen. And to minister in the marketplace.

His pulpits are the stages, the boardrooms, the classrooms, and the streets. His library is the people. His passion is to inspire individuals, empower organizations, and transform a nation, and put a smile on Go face. His calling is to serve.
