Do you conduct teambuilding outside Metro Manila?
Jan. 28, 2010 by Marco, Tacloban
Yes, I do. Most of my seminars are outside Metro Manila. Though most of my clients are from Metro Manila, they preferred holding their teambuilding programs in Quezon, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, and Rizal.

I can also lead teambuilding workshops anywhere in the Philippines. Feel free to contact me so we can talk about the details.

Do you customize your training programs?
Jan. 28, 2010 by Joset
Yes, I do customize my training programs. Some trainers are effective when they deliver canned programs and I believe some canned programs are good. However, most of my seminars and workshops are corporate in nature. I do not see my work as conducting seminars and workshops. My job is not to deliver motivational talks. As your training partner, I am here to help you find solutions to your problems. This is why I tailor-fit the programs to your needs. Doing so makes me more confident that you are getting more than what you have invested.

Do you require a minimum number of participants to attend your workshops?
Jan. 28, 2010 by Reli, Ortigas, Pasig
There is no requirement. Of course, some seminars are more effective when you have more than seven participants. Public speaking is an example. You need an audience in public speaking. Since my forte is helping people develop the skills, I am biased for workshops. I make people talk, do role plays, enjoy group discussions, write and draw. People skills workshops are best done with a group of participants.

Hi Jef! I'm interested in the training the trainer seminar. I'm an HR Officer with recruitment experience only. The reason why I'm interested in that seminar is because I want to apply for training positions in the future and I have no idea yet if I have the skills and the characteristics of a good trainer. Do you think your seminar will help me discover if I have potential for training? Also, how much is the fee per person or for 5 pax? I'll try to gather my HR friends to join me. Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Jef, Do you offer your services for free for fellow Filipinos who can't afford services like yours? motivational speeches and coaching?
Mar. 6, 2010 by John Paul Zante, Cebu
I do not offer free services. But I do and have been coaching and motivating Filipinos for free. I simply do not market the "free" service because in reality the free service is not really free. Someone has to spend his time and resources for that.

For motivational speakers like me, we do not only spend our time in front of the audience talking about our passions. What you see is only ten to twenty percent of the time we must invest on preparation. And preparation is not a one time thing. I do prepare all the time.

I qualify my clients. Not everyone who can pay may get me to speak before them. We do not have all the time in the world. I have a mission to fulfill, so let me say that I intend to spend 80 percent of my time to the 20 percent that will give me the best results. So, bring me to your teachers, priests, ministers, and youth leaders. I like to share with them what I know.

And for those who do not want to spend anything for something, I am very sorry but I do not offer my services to them. I value my time too. My experience is that those who do not want to pay for education are less likely to benefit from it.

How much is your talent fee?
Jan. 28, 2010 by Elma Yanga, Makati City
Let us talk about what you want to achieve and I will only ask a small portion of the revenue you expect to get from the learning solutions that I can provide you. I don't sell my hours, my labor, and my talent.

You don't really need long training days. You need effective training programs that can provide your people relevant knowledge and skills. How much do you want to gain from the seminars? Start with that question. Let's talk. Though I do not price my seminars to gain a competitive advantage against other training consultants (I do not think of them as competitions anyway), you will still find my professional fee most affordable.
