Remember where you came from.

I was born in Camotes Island in Cebu. I can say that many of my empowering values I learned from Lolo Pedro. I was 8 years old when my mother brought me to Quezon City. My dream is to go back home.

Remember where you came from.

I will remember my school, no matter humble. And I will continue to honor my teachers who have shown me the way. I celebrate my humble beginnings in the slums for it inspired me to be more than what people thought I could be. I am thankful for the experiences which shaped me. I have gone through struggles so I can best appreciate success, so I can enjoy significance, so I will have the greater strength to surrender everything to Him from whom I came from.

Remember where you came from. It gives you a history, a sense of place, a rarity that remains where ever you go.
